The BEST MOISTURIZER for dry/sensitive skin!

I've been wanting to write some more product reviews on my blog so I decided to write about my all-time favorite moisturizer because I recently picked it up again.

To preface - I have pretty sensitive skin and very dry skin. I've tried a few different moisturizers including the Simple moisturizer but that really didn't work for my face at all.

So - the best moisturizer I've tried? Palmer's Daily Calming Facial Lotion! This moisturizer comes in very simple packaging - nothing fancy. It's also pretty inexpensive - only 8 dollars for a pretty good amount of products. It can be a little hard to find but I normally find it at Target or CVS. But it is available online.

The formula of the moisturizer feels thick when you first put it on your skin but it absorbs really, really nicely into the skin. Not too thick or cakey - just moisturized and smooth. But because it is a thicker formula you really need the smallest amount, which is why it lasts for so long! I tend to use it morning and night as my moisturizer and I just find it helps my dry skin and redness so much!

Even though it is a thicker consistency, I haven't found it to break me out or cause redness. In fact - I think it reduces my redness (which is one of its claims). It's definitely a very calming product like it claims to be. It's also odorless, which helps not cause any breakouts or anything.

The only downside? It doesn't have SPF. But! Palmers does have a moisturizer with SPF - I just haven't been able to find it in stores. I might purchase it online to see how it compares because I do love having SPF built into my moisturizer so I don't have to add the extra step.

Anyways - I hope this review helped if you're looking for a new moisturizer!
Thanks for reading + let me know what you think in the comments!

  1. I love Palmer's! I used to use a night cream by them and also shampoo and conditioner and all of them were so good! This sounds great, I'll have to see if I can get hold of it x
