I've been meaning to do more beauty posts on my blog but for some reason they always take a backseat to outfit posts and videos. I guess it's because I don't have a huge beauty collection or anything like that. However, I do love a good bit of nail polish. So, today I thought I'd talk to you about my top fall nail polishes!
Obviously I love a good deal so all of these nail polishes are really inexpensive (under 5$).
My first pick is Pure Ice No Means No. I picked this up at walmart a long time ago but it should be still available. On Amazon - I realized it is a bit more expensive. But it is such a stunning deep purple. It's got a bit of shine to it as well so it's just overall a really beautiful shade. It's dark but not too dark that you mistake it for black - it's got some serious purple pigment going on. Similar to most, I love deeper colors for fall so this deep purple is no exception! I was surprised by the quality of this polish as well - it lasts for about a week (or more!) without chipping or flaking.
My next pick is the Rimmel Lyrca wear in 399 Black Satin. I know that they changed up the packaging since I picked up this polish years ago but it's still one of my favorites. It is just your basic black color but it lasts forever! You could stick to one coat because it is so pigmented and thick but I like to do two coats just to make sure it stays on as long as possible. The great thing about this shade is it really is a true black. It's dark, brooding, and I love it.
My final pick is probably my favorite for the season. It's the Sally Hansen Hard as Nails in 455 Mauve Over. It's such a bargain at only 2 dollars and I'm finding it to be the perfect fall shade! It's dark but still a subtle enough color. I love this brand of nail polish and I know I'll be picking up more this year. I'm shocked by how great of quality it is. The color is pigmented, it lasts for over a week without chipping, and the brush is the perfect size! This shade is a dark pink color with a bit of purple undertone - essentially the perfect mauve! It's like a "your lips but better" shade for your nails!
I hope you enjoyed this post on my favorite fall nail polishes! Let me know what you think in the comments below. What are your favorite colors for fall?
