Spring in my Step

It's finally starting to feel like spring here (sometimes). The mornings can be pretty brutal considering I have to walk half a mile from the bus stop to work and it's around 30 degrees but by the afternoon it's beautiful. I actually really enjoy my 30 minute morning commute despite the frustration that if I could drive it would only take 5 minutes. It gives me time to zone out, listen to music, and prepare for the day. I also walk to work when the sun is rising so it can be really beautiful considering I walk through a college campus once I hop off the bus.

I realized during one of my morning walks that in order for my photos to be to the standard I want them to be I need to start taking photos during the sunrise as painful as it might be on the weekends. This past weekend, I got to my normal shooting locations at two different times in the morning. I thought on Sunday (when I shot these photos) that I was too late - it was too bright. But I was wrong! I really love how these turned out. I also love the bright orange against the lush greens. And I know I've worn this denim shirt a lot recently but it just works perfectly for spring. Plus, it goes with almost everything in my closet!
