Three Ways to Wear the Embroidered Jacket

Hello!

I feel like it's been a while since I've written a post, which isn't true (I posted one yesterday!). But I guess it's because I've been so preoccupied with the kitten. But today I'm bringing you three ways to wear the embroidered jacket!

I don't follow trends too closely and actually I've had this jacket in my closet for around two years. I thrifted it when I was living in Atlanta and it's probably one of my best finds. It can be kind of fun to wear trends that you've been rocking for a long time only to realize they've become huge this season!

The first way I wore it was with my favorite maroon skirt, black turtleneck, and some booties. This look will work perfectly into the colder months with some tights but for the warmer weather you can go sans tights and it's perfect! I'm also wearing a short sleeve turtleneck underneath so it's not too hot.

To make this jacket a bit more casual, I love  throwing on some cool jeans - like these flared jeans from Madewell (thrifted). They let the focus be on the jacket (as it should!) but also make a nice silhouette with the flare in the jeans. I'm also wearing some really cute oxford heels but you'll have to check out the original post to see those!

This look is probably my favorite way to wear this jacket. And somehow, it incorporates two fall trends even though I took these photos last year! Velvet is a favorite fabric of mine and I think it works really well with this jacket.

I also love matching different colored tights to my outfits and these maroon ones work perfectly!
