Transitioning Your Summer Clothes for Fall

I just got back from the best four-day weekend in Laramie, Wyoming. More on that later but guys - I love that town and the people so much.

But today I thought I'd talk about how to transition your summer clothes for fall!

I don't like the idea that some of my clothes can only be worn in one or two seasons. The perfect example of that is this dress I thrifted this summer. I never got around to showing it on the blog in the summer but to be honest, I think I like it better paired with a turtleneck! I'm not really big on v-necks so I don't really know why I thought i'd wear this much during the summer anyways.

This dress can look really summer-y with some cute sandals but throw a turtleneck under it and you've made it the perfect fall piece! It doesn't hurt that the embroidery trend is going STRONG this fall. I also threw on some silver accessories as I find they work really well for fall.

Transitioning your clothes for autumn can be so easy by throwing on some chunky layers, tights, and closed toed shoes. I also don't think you need to get rid of all of your bright colors once fall rolls around. There are ways to incorporate them into your fall/winter wardrobe - just like this dress!

Do you like to wear clothes all year round?
Let me know!
