6 Months In

I thought it might be fun to look at the goals I set for myself back in January. But while writing this post I realized how little I've done to accomplish my goals for the year. So I guess I'll recap on how I've been failing miserably?

1. Set aside time each day to write
I've been writing more but I haven't been doing it daily. I've written a few poems this year so I'm doing better than before! But I need to start writing again.

2. Unplug and read more books
I haven't been doing this as much.... I'm having a hard time focusing lately. I did read some short stories by Dave Eggers while in Canada. I'm finding short stories easier to digest than a larger novel.

3. Write more letters
Nope, I haven't done that....

4. Figure out where I want to move
I'm currently in the process of figuring this one out. I'll have it figured out by the 16th of this month but who knows what is going to happen! My life is very much up in the air right now and it is stressing me out.

5. Run a marathon or start training for one
I am not running a marathon soon but I will be running a 25k in July! (17ish miles). I've still been pretty sick the past few weeks so I haven't been able to train like I want. But I think I may have finally found a solution to my mystery illness!

6. Get back into blogging
I have done this! Whew! Maybe not as much as before but I am glad to be back writing and taking photos when I can. To be honest, I haven't been feeling creative lately (as seen by my lack of posts) but hopefully, I'll start to feel better mentally and physically soon.

On a happier note, I am in love with this dress! The wonderful folks over at Tobi sent me some pieces recently and I can't wait to show them to you all! But I think this linen wrap dress is my favorite! I've wanted a wrap dress for a while now and this one fits all my needs! It's a little big in the chest area (surprise, surprise) but overall, I still love it.

Dress: Tobi
Shoes: Target
Necklace: Gift

Do you have any goals you're trying to accomplish?
Let me know in the comments!
